How To Cope Up With Learning Curve?

Most of the failures in new endeavors occur at initial stage. They occur when person involved is not even fully equipped with how to do knowledge.

Majority of new endeavors are either half hearted attempts or overzealous adventure without any ground work.

In both cases the key element of success is missing.

Learning.

Learning is important part of preparation for success.

It cannot be absolute one time learning. Rather learning is a continuous process.

We start from one end and move to another. As we add to our existing knowledge we move to higher point.

There is no fixed learning curve.It depends on X our present knowledge, our ability and our input.

Some people learn faster than others.

To succeed one has to walk upon the learning curve.

I admit that this can be very difficult at first. Especially When you are feeling negative and down on yourself, these thoughts come into your mind.

* I'm not smart enough to succeed

* I don't have enough experience to succeed

* I don't have enough money to succeed

* I never did this before

The key is to think positive. There would be many great things about you. You need them to enforce on yourself to stay put.

Something like

* The world is filled with everything I need to help me achieve my goal if I'm ready to open myself up to it

* People who have succeeded before me are available to show me the way

* I have had success in the past

* There is infinite money in the world

* I can learn anything

As soon as you can think of more reasons why you will succeed than reasons why you might fail, reaching your goal is guaranteed.

The reasons you've come up with will spike your inspiration and provide a clear picture of what you will achieve.

Do not let the mind work against you. Make him an ally and see the difference.

If you constantly paint your future in negative, pessimistic, self-limiting images, the mental picture you see is going to be so dark and dismal that you won't be motivated to pursue it in reality.

Why would you? You've already convinced yourself that you're going to fail.

In order to be successful with your niche idea it is important to add your own slant to it. You need to create your own unique selling point. You need to give potential clients a reason to buy from you rather than from another photography site.

How about "Photography for Beginners"? If you carry out another search on Google using the term "Photography for Beginners" you will find there are 740,000 results at the time of writing.

You need to further define your Unique Selling Point (USP). How about digital photography. Let’s look at "Digital Photography for Beginners". Another Google search reveals 456,000 results for this term. Let’s go with it.

Now that you have narrowed down your idea you need to confirm that others are spending money in your particular niche. It’s important that people are purchasing goods and services in your niche. You can do this by looking at the right hand side of the Google search page.

The right hand side of the Google page contains paid adverts from other web site owners. Advertising contained on the right hand side indicates that the market is prepared to pay for goods online and that businesses are profitable otherwise they would not be paying for adverts.

The next phase of your research is to check out six websites in detail in your particular niche. Click onto any of the websites contained on the left hand side of the Google page. The websites on the left hand side of each Goggle page are sites deemed appropriate by Google that best match your search.

Now take a look and see what they are offering, in particular how their website is put together and what solutions they offer to their customers. How can you improve on what they’re offering? Try to create 3 or 4 improvements to these sites.

Now repeat the whole process for the remaining two ideas that you have chosen above.

Once you have completed this research pick the best niche or idea that you feel you can develop and progress with.

I'm excited for this blog entry, and I hope you are too. In the last entry, I talked about five characteristics I've seen in my experience that have led people to real success in the network marketing industry. In my opinion, you cannot be successful without them. With them, however, you are in a strong position to achieve your aspirations in this industry.

I want to explain to you how The SpiderWeb Marketing System holds to these characteristics and will help you develop them yourself.

1. They used their own products or services and could explain why you should use them.

The idea behind multi-level marketing (MLM) is simple. Imagine you have a product to sell. A common MLM product is some sort of panacea, such as a vitamin or mineral supplement. You could do what most businesses do: either sell it directly to consumers or find others who will buy your product from you and sell it to other people. MLM schemes require that you recruit people not only to buy and sell your product, but who will also recruit people who will not only buy and sell your product but also recruit people....ad infinitum. Only there never is an infinitum to move towards. This may seem unusual to traditional business people. Why, you might wonder would you recruit people to compete with you? For, isn't that what you are doing when you recruit people to sell the same products you are selling? MLM magic will convince you that it is reasonable to recruit competitors because they won't really be competitors since you will get a cut of their profits. This will take your mind off the fact that no matter how big your town or market, it is finite. The well will go dry soon enough. There will always be some distributors who will make money in an MLM scheme. The majority, however, must fail due to the intrinsic nature of all pyramid schemes.

Multi-level marketing is system of marketing which puts more emphasis upon the recruiting of distributors than on the selling of products. As such, it is intrinsically flawed. MLM is very attractive, however, because it sells hope and appears to be outside the mainstream of business as usual. It promises wealth and independence to all. Unfortunately, no matter what the product, MLM is doomed to produce more failures than successes. For every MLM distributor who makes a decent living or even a decent supplemental income, there are at least ten who do little more than buy products and promotional materials, costing them much more than they will ever earn as an MLM agent. The most successful MLM scheme is Amway. It has millions of distributors worldwide with sales in the billions. At the turn of the century, the average Amway distributor earned about $700 a year in sales, but spent about $1,000 a year on Amway products. Distributors also have other expenses related to the business, e.g., telephone, gas, motivational meetings, and publicity material (Amway.com; Klebniov 1991).

The reason MLM schemes cannot succeed is because MLM marketing is, in essence, a legal pyramid scheme. The basic idea is for a sales person to recruit more sales persons. This is very advantageous to those who own the company and supply the products, especially since the sales persons in MLMs are also customers. But it is puzzling why a sales person would think it is to his or her advantage to increase the number of competing sales persons.

This is not to say there is no benefit to MLM membership. You get certain tax write-offs. You get to buy products, some of which you will be happy with. You get to go to inspirational meetings, some of which will make you feel good. You may meet new friends and you may even make a few bucks. But more than likely you will end up alienating some family and friends. You will probably end up buying more stuff than you sell. And you will learn a lot about deceiving yourself and others. You won't be allowed to tell anyone how you are really doing, for example. You will always have to think positive, even if that means lying. You will have to tell anyone who asks that you are doing great, that business is wonderful, that you've never seen anything go so fast and bring you income so quickly, even if it isn't true.

The dangers of MLM schemes have been well articulated by others. If you are thinking of joining any MLM program, I advise you to first read Dean Van Druff's What's Wrong With Multi-Level Marketing or Robert Fitzpatrick's False Profits - Seeking Financial and Spiritual Deliverance in Multi-Level Marketing and Pyramid Schemes (Herald Press, 1997).

Work at Home Scams Rising in the Face of Economic Woes
This article by Eve Tahmincioglu on MSNBC.com takes a look at how the number of work at home scams is likely to increase as the economy tightens. Because work at home scammers prey on people who are desperate for money but who don't want to or can't leave the house to earn the additional income, it's likely that a growing number of people will get scammed into believing that work at home jobs they see online or receive unsolicited email about are legitimate.

Tahmincioglu goes on to point out that complaints to the Better Business Bureau pertaining to work-at-home opportunities rose to 4,100 in 2007 from about 3,800 in 2006. Additionally, she tells us that work-at-home offers and business opportunities ranked 13th last year among fraud complaints received by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

While it's one thing to get conned into paying for the privilege to work at home with these scammers and perhaps have your bank account drained in the process, those who get scammed also need to be aware that they could end up getting arrested for activities they thought were legitimate but were, in reality, rip off attempts by crooks who convince the workers to repackage goods and send them on only to find out the unsuspecting home worker was actively involved in fencing merchandise purchased with stolen credit cards.

Some of the specific scams mentioned in the article include:

* An email saying you were randomly selected to become a mystery shopper and you can earn $500 to $800 a week.
* An unsolicited email, or a job post about a work-at-home job involving freight.
* Offers of training and pay for filling out medical bills. Typically the scam requires you to make an upfront payment for the "opportunity" and you never get paid for your work.

Additional work at home scam offers I receive nearly every day

Occasionally I save the scam email offers I get. Over the past year, I've saved 93 messages. And that was just those I decided to save that weren't blocked as spam. Many say they saw my resume on CareerBuilder or Monster. In nearly all cases the messages are poorly written and reflect the grammar of non-native English. Why have I saved them? Well, I'm getting so fed up, one day I may just start naming names. Here are the most common type of offers I see:

* An email saying my resume was found on a job site and the company would like to offer me a job as a Transfer Manager processing on-line money transfers.
* An offer to become a PayPal Account Manager to process payments from the company's clients through PayPal. I would get a percentage of each transfer (5% - 15%).

Often, the email has a noreply address. Other times I'm urged to go to a website and fill out information, providing my personal financial information. Typically, the only requirements are that you be US-based, have a US bank account, be over 25 and be good with computers. Since you need to have a US bank account, you can bet the scammers are going to insist on getting your financial information before they can agree to "hire" you. Don't do me any favors!

What Kind of Home Based Entrepreneur Are You?
Entrepreneur.com/MSNBC provides an excerpt from Jeffrey A. Landers' book, The Home Office from Hell Cure. In it, Landers examines two types of entrepreneurs, what he calls Growth Mavens and Lifestyle Gurus. While I really enjoyed the article, it may be oversimplified because in reality there are probably many more than just two types of entrepreneurs.

Landers describes Growth Mavens as those who want to grow from a one-person business to a multi-employee corporation and beyond. He says Growth Mavens know there's no limit to the amount of money they can make. As a result, Growth Mavens are typically driven to move their business out of the house as soon as possible and into the corporate world. My argument would be that Growth Maven types are not really home-based entrepreneurs in the true sense of the word anyway, as so many of them go out to find venture capital and don't start their business at home in the first place.

I can relate more to the Lifestyle Gurus, and I suspect many of us with home businesses would. Landers says Lifestyle Gurus made their dream happen the first day they didn't have to go in to the office. "He is psyched to be his own boss, have a flexible schedule and decide for himself when to work and when to take time off. " Landers says that successful Lifestyle Gurus "Have a plan for making it work. They make themselves look big even when they're small. They outsource the things that both drain their time and aren't revenue-producing. And they get their customers' attention."

I agree that you need a plan to be successful. It may or may not amount to a formal business plan, but it's a plan nonetheless.

His categorization neatly breaks down these two types of entrepreneurs - maybe a little too neatly - into those who want to get big and those who want to stay at home and make enough money for a good living. Included with the excerpt is a quiz to see which type of entrepreneur personality you have - or at least which of these two groups best fit you.

President Bush Issues Small Business Week Proclamation

On April 18th, President Bush issued a proclamation officially marking April 20th through April 26th as Small Business Week.

In his proclamation, Bush states, "Small businesses are the backbone of the American economy, and my Administration is committed to fostering an environment in which the entrepreneurial spirit can thrive. " My question is, if your administration is so committed to small business, why so little notice? With some planning, events could have been planned to make the week what he says it's supposed to be: "A time to celebrate the many achievements of small business owners, entrepreneurs, and employees, who contribute to the vitality and prosperity of our Nation and create new job opportunities for our citizens."

The last sentence of the proclamation is, "I call upon all Americans to observe this week with appropriate ceremonies, activities, and programs that celebrate the achievements of small business owners and their employees and encourage the development of new small businesses." Well, isn't that special? With a whole two days of planning time, I wonder what meaningful ceremonies and programs could be pulled together. The other question I have is, why not make this an annual event?

On a less Macro scale, in the world of network and multi-level marketing this principle remains especially true and obvious. At the very core of your business, you make money through the sale of goods or services to someone. You yourself may never sell a thing and be living in a huge mansion, but odds are you're benefiting from the sale of something to someone. This system of making sales work for you is part of the appeal of MLM. Downlines. You benefit from the work of others. The more people you have in your downlines, the more profit you are making. Downlines make sales. You make money. End of story. But what's the name of the game?

Leads. The hottest commodity of MLM. If you've got 'em, you've got it. If not, you're going to be working really, really hard to pay for that huge mansion on door-to-door sales and Tupperware parties. If you can get downlines, you can get money. If you were spending hundreds of dollars and hours and hours (maybe you are, if so, pay attention) buying and then contacting hundreds of leads, wouldn't the above idea appeal to you?

So, with this system you are advertising help or training, and in exchange for a free newsletter or basic e-book they give you their contact information (LEAD). This newsletter will usually tell them "WHAT" to do but not show them "HOW" to do it. Then, through reading the free newsletters or e-books or watching the free videos etc they are introduced to some product that they can buy (usually the Full details and step by step training on HOW to do what they just told you to do) and if the person who signed up for the info decides to purchase the product then you as the affiliate who referred them will make a commission. So, essentially what will happen is you, will be looking for a way to grow your business, you will find one of these sites and sign up for the free info (You are someone else's lead) then you decide you want to get the whole story, buy the product (book, e-book etc.) and the person who referred you makes $20 or $50 or whatever the commission amount for the book sale is.

So, for example, if you are advertising on Google, and you spend $20 and generate 10 leads, and one of them buys the training book, and you make $20 or more from it, then you made at least your money back and got 10 good unique leads… Make sense? If you get 2 book/training course sales and make $40 then you made $20 to generate 10 leads. Multiply that times 100 and you have 1,000 great leads and $4,000 in your pocket by investing $2,000 into advertising. Then, if you keep re-investing your "profits" into more advertising then you keep making more and more cash and have more people then you would possibly talk to so you can start to be picky instead of desperate and pick and choose only the most sharp and capable people to spend your time with…

I have received no less then 10 emails all wanting me to join DubaiMLM.com so I decided to dig a little deeper.

It didn't take me long to see the similarities between DubaiMLM and BankMLM that was floating around the Internet a few years ago using almost the EXACT same scheme.

Turns out that BankMLM was nothing more then a email harvesting scheme that many thousands of people fell victim and not a single penny was ever paid out.

Running a Whois on DubaiMLM just about floored me when the name of the person that registered this name.

This just about floored me on two accounts.
Angelo P, Phillip AKA: Phil Piccolo AKA Johnny d'Angelo, Phillip Angelo P., Joseph Stevens, and Felix Angelo.

YES they are indeed all the same person. He seems to like to change his name as he moves from one scheme to another, but obviously just changes them around a little bit so he doesn't get confused himself.

Today I want to share with you a compelling story from Kimball Roundy, founder and inventor of The SpiderWeb Marketing System. The Depressed but Blessed Monday

I will never forget the day I first stumbled across the concepts that started me down the path of research and development of the Spider Web Marketing System. It was early on a long depressing Monday morning that my life was changed forever. This Monday was depressing not only because I found myself back at my dead-end job yet again, but far worse because I had spent the previous three weeks preparing for the recruiting-event-to-end-all-recruiting-events. It was to be the most successful "meeting" that anyone had ever seen.

The Master Plan

I was certain that after this huge "opportunity" BBQ, everyone in my company was going to be coming to me to figure out what I had done to recruit so many people. I had my small downline buzzing with excitement about how we were all going to be able to kick back and watch the cash roll in after this event. Previous small casual BBQ's at my home had been somewhat effective and encouraging, so I was sure that this large gathering was going to be just that much more effective.

I spent well over $1,000 getting ready for the BBQ. I purchased enough hamburgers and hot dogs to feed a small army, as well as volleyball equipment, horseshoes, and badminton sets. I rented the largest park in town, a grill the size of my truck and everything else I could think of to make this an enjoyable and successful "meeting".

Then, with a bit of help from some of my top guys, I passed out between ten and fifteen thousand flyers. We talked to everyone we knew and everyone we met as we were preparing for the event. I literally only slept an hour or two each night for the entire week leading up to the BBQ.

Finally, the day arrived. There was a buzz of excitement running through my whole organization. Unfortunately, it would soon be smothered, along with the hearts of everyone who had worked so hard to help put this event together. So, out of the 20,000 people who had heard about the BBQ or got a flyer, the grand total that showed up was...76. Not quite the 5,000 I was hoping for or even the 500 I was willing to settle for--76.

To add salt to an already painful wound, out of those 76 I was able to pitch my opportunity to, there was a total signup of -24.

"How is that possible?" you ask.

Well, I had worked and overworked my entire team and placed way too much emphasis on how well things were going to work out and how easy it was going to be once we were done recruiting the masses that were inevitably going to show up. So, in the face of this massive failure, I lost any and all confidence that my team had in me as a leader. Within a few days, despite my best effort to retain them, I had lost them all.

So there I found myself -- broke, broken, depressed, forced to go back to a job which I had hoped never to return to and searching for any reason I could find to keep myself from giving up on my MLM dream.

Then I found it - the key, the concept, and the strategy with which to make it a reality (which had been hidden right under my nose for five years) that unlocked my mind from the chains that this industry had placed on me. This is the concept that would open my eyes to a new way of looking at this business and a way of seeing things that I had never before been shown.

That is his great story. I'll explain more about the secret that he mentions. Actually, the secret is in the huge system that I write about, and every entry explains more of this complex and comprehensive system.

Spider Web Marketing Maximizes Tahitian Noni and Xango

I once knew a guy who did pretty well for himself through Tahitian Noni. But I know you've heard something like that before. Now, I'm always quite skeptical of all the amazing MLM testimonials about so and so who went from rags to riches and would like you to join his downline as soon as he returns from his month vacation in the Maldives. You should be skeptical too. But I actually was friends with this guy and saw it with my own eyes. No, there was not a 120 ft. yacht or private jet (although there was a nice ski boat), but he was doing pretty well.

Albert Einstein once said that the definition of insanity is: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. I like to look at it as banging your head against a wall and expecting to make money for it. Doesn't usually work too well. There is apparently quite the debate amongst bloggers as to whether this was originally said by Benjamin Franklin, or Einstein, or someone else. Either way, its true. Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is just not very smart any way you slice it.

The same thing applies to any business. The businesses that break the mold and do something new succeed. Those that continue with the status quo eventually are shown the Chapter 11 door. Horse carriage makers used to think that the whole automobile fad was just a phase that would pass. In a more modern example, huge, established airline companies are struggling while new, smaller companies are succeeding by focusing on low fares and customer satisfaction.
